Mon dieu! !!!! Pauvre loulou

The new face of abuse, starvation, has gotten completely out of control lately. There is just no making sense of this senseless and sadistic cruelty. Today we saw PRISCILLA and our collective hearts broke. She is estimated to be 8 mos old and she weighs a measly, 13 pounds!!!! Truly heartbreaking and unbelievable! She entered the Brooklyn ACC today as a stray so there is sadly, no one to hold accountable for this unspeakable abuse. Her nails are long and curled under, she's filthy and stained in her own urine. We can only imagine the living hell she is now free of. Of course, she is a sweet as can be and grateful for any attention & caresses. While we cannot spare her from her horrific past, we can make sure the rest of her life is safe & happy and that she is loved and cared for, so that is what we must focus on, making her whole again and finding her the best home ever! We love you Priscilla and may your past quickly become a distant memory!!

She left the Brooklyn shelter this afternoon and is en route to our vet. We will post an update tomorrow once we have one.

If you'd like to donate to help this baby girl's vetting, please do so at www.nycsecondchancerescue.org/donate/ thank you!!
